This 3.5-4 hour AHA BLS course is geared towards prehospital providers, like EMTs, paramedics, fire fighters, and in-facility hospital providers. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years. Please contact your employer to ensure that you are selecting the correct course. COR (Choking Object Removal) and use of an AED are included. ($89 per student)
This 6 hour AHA Heartsaver course is designed for non-medical personnel such as churches, office staff, child care, scouting organizations, or anyone wanting to learn the skills for Adult, Child and Infant CPR, COR (Choking Object Removal) and use of an AED with the addition of a basic First Aid course. The course is a full day of training with approximately three hours before lunch and three hours after. It is especially designed for those with limited or no medical training who need a course completion card in CPR and AED with First Aid to meet job, regulatory or other requirements. ($89 per student)

Once the course is completed each participant will have been instructed as follows (Note: Course objectives vary based on the course topics taught):
Describe how high-quality CPR improves survival
Explain the concept of the Chain of Survival
Recognize when someone needs CPR
Describe how to perform CPR with help from others
Demonstrate giving effective breaths by using moth to mouth or a mask for all ages
Demonstrate performing high-quality CPR for an adult, child and infant
Demonstrate using an AED on an adult and on a child
Demonstrate how to help a choking adult, child and infant
This 3.5-4 hour AHA Heartsaver course is designed for non-medical personnel such as churches, office staff, child care or anyone wanting to learn basic First Aid skills as well as the COR (Choking Object Removal) technique. The course is a half day of training. It is especially designed for those with limited or no medical training who need a course completion card in First Aid to meet job, regulatory or other requirements as well as those who would like a working knowledge of basic First Aid. ($65 per student)
Once the course is completed each participant will have been instructed as follows (Note: Course objectives vary based on the course topics taught):
List the priorities, roles, and responsibilities of first air rescuers
Describe the key steps in first aid
Demonstrate proper removal of protective gloves
Demonstrate how to find the problem
Describe the assessment and first aid actions for these life-threatening conditions; heart attack, difficulty breathing, choking, sever bleeding, shock, and stroke
Describe when and how to help a choking adult, child, or infant
Demonstrate how to help a choking adult, child and infant
Demonstrate how to use an epinephrine pen
Demonstrate how to control bleeding and apply bandaging
Recognize elements of common illnesses and injuries
Describe the benefits of living a healthy lifestyle and the risks of smoking and vaping
Describe how to find information on preventing illness and injury
Recognize the legal questions that apply to first aid rescuers
